New England Revolution supporters seem to love a good movie-themed tifo. Check, for instance, this "Jaws"-themed one they revealed last year, or this "Lion King"-themed one they used to mock Orlando City earlier this month.
Saturday night at the Revs' home game against the Philadelphia Union, they unfurled another one based on a classic flick franchise, Indiana Jones. Voila, this image, playing on the Revs' Jermaine Jones. Get it? Get it?
The Revs and the Union came away from the match with a 1-1 draw, but this tifo definitely won. Here's why: It's partially the work of Revs players and child cancer patients. The team visited Boston Children’s Hospital on Sept. 10 to paint the tifo with these creative kids, and Saturday night’s display of it marked Childhood Cancer Awareness night at Gillette Stadium.
You can watch the Revs’ video of the tifo creation right here.
Excuse us while we wipe away this rain splashing down our faces.
