The Bruce Arena-era in New England kicks off Saturday afternoon when the Revolution visit Stade Saputo to meet the Montreal Impact Saturday afternoon.
Arena, who was named the club's new sporting director and coach, won't take over as head coach just so, so Mike Lapper will be in charge and is hoping for a second consecutive win after the Revs (3-8-2) defeated the San Jose Earthquakes, 3-1, at Gillette Stadium Saturday night behind goals by Juan Agudelo, Cristian Penilla and Carles Gil.
The Impact (6-5-2) are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to FC Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium where Orji Okwonkwo scored the lone goal for the visitors in the 75th minute.
This is the second meeting between the Eastern Conference foes, with Montreal winning 3-0 at Gillette with Anthony Jackson-Hamel striking a late brace after Shamit Shome opened the scoring in the 79th minute.
