Zakaria Diallo canceled out Justin Meram's first-half strike to level five minutes into the second half before Meram added his second in the 83rd minute to secure all three points for the hosts.
The Loons (8-7-3) have back-to-back wins after defeating the San Jose Earthquakes, 3-1, Wednesday night at Allianz Field. Darwin Quintero opened the scoring five minutes after kickoff before Tommy Thompson equalized in first-half stoppage time. Michael Boxall put Minnesota United in front seven minutes into the second half and Kevin Molino tacked on an insurance goal in the second minute of second-half stoppage time.
