TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Contract
One of the stalwarts of the Montreal Impact defense is set to stay for the foreseeable future, as the club announced on Friday that they have signed Victor Cabrera to a new contract for the 2020 season, with an option for 2021.
Cabrera, 26, has made 92 MLS regular season appearances with the Impact since joining ahead of the 2015 season. He's also featured in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, the Canadian Championship and Concacaf Champions League in his tenure with the club.
The Argentine, a product of River Plate's academy, played one first-team match there before his move to Montreal, where he's been a regular, primarily at center back.
