FC Cincinnati and New York City FC have each loaned a youngster to USL expansion club Memphis 901 FC, which will play their first-ever professional game this weekend.
In search of developmental minutes, FC Cincy has sent out rookie striker Rashawn Dally. The Jamaican youth international and former Quinnipiac University standout was selected No. 49 overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
As for the Cityzens, goalkeeper Jeff Caldwell will join the USL club. The University of Virginia alumnus and former U.S. youth international is one of four 'keepers on the Eastern Conference club's roster. He was drafted 19th overall in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft and is yet to make his first-team debut.
