MLS has released the rescheduled dates for four of the five matches that were postponed on Wednesday, August 26 in the wake of player protests across professional sports after the recent police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin and the murders that occurred during the ensuing demonstrations.
Four of the five matches will be played in midweek slots in September:
- Inter Miami vs. Atlanta United: Wed., Sept. 9 @ 8 p.m. ET
- Real Salt Lake vs. LAFC: Wed., Sept. 9 @ 9:30 p.m. ET
- FC Dallas vs. Colorado Rapids: Wed., Sept. 16 @ 8:30 p.m. ET
- San Jose Earthquakes vs. Portland Timbers: Wed., Sept 16 @ 10:30 p.m. ET
- LA Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders: TBD
In another schedule update, the FC Dallas vs. Houston Dynamo Texas Derby match originally set for Monday, Sept. 14 will be played two days before on Saturday, Sept. 12 (8:30 p.m. ET).
