MLS to feature 35 players across Concacaf men's Olympic qualifying rosters

Concacaf Olympic Qualifying - Men's tournament

The rosters for Concacaf Olympic Qualifying were officially released on Thursday, and there will be plenty of MLS representation when the competition kicks off in Guadalajara, Mexico from March 18-30.

Unsurprisingly, the United States' roster features the most players hailing from MLS as 16 were called in by U-23 head coach Jason Kreis, with Canada not far behind at 11. Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic will all have at least one MLSer suiting up when the action starts.

In terms of the clubs that will be best represented, both CF Montréal and the Vancouver Whitecaps will have five players at the competition, with Real Salt Lake and the San Jose Earthquakes right behind with four apiece. In total there will be 35 players from MLS clubs taking part.

Players born on or after Jan. 1, 1997, are age-eligible for the competition.
