St. Louis City SC's first day of season ticket deposits was record-setting.
The 2023 MLS expansion club announced that it received 30,000 deposits within the first 15 minutes and 50,000 after the first 24 hours of season tickets being made available to the general public.

Those numbers represent the largest number of season ticket deposits in the history of Major League Soccer. The club's merchandise sales also previously set a new league record.
“I’m once again blown away by our fans, supporters and community, and how they continue to rally around City,” said Carolyn Kindle Betz, the club's owner and CEO, in a statement. “This is just another testament to why I love St. Louis so much. When given the opportunity, our region shows the rest of the nation why we’re a force to be reckoned with.”
Season ticket deposits are still being accepted by the club on STLCITYSC.com and those fans will be able to make their seat selections ahead of the 2023 inaugural season with priority given based on when the order was placed.
The club is building a 22,500-seat, $250 million soccer stadium with adjacent training facility and club headquarters in the city's Downtown West district. They'll be the only team in MLS with both a stadium and training ground in the heart of the urban core.
