Ahead of Week 17 of the MLS regular season, the Disciplinary Committee has issued decisions on two players.
Ali Adnan simulation/embellishment
Vancouver Whitecaps FC defender Ali Adnan has been found guilty of simulation/embellishment. Adnan has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 18th minute of Vancouver’s match against the Colorado Rapids on June 22.
Matt Turner violent conduct
New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner has been issued an undisclosed fine and an additional game suspension (two games total) for violent conduct during the 56th minute of New England’s match against D.C. United on May 25.
Turner, who received a red card for the incident, served his first match suspension on June 2 against the LA Galaxy. Turner will serve his additional game suspension on June 26 against the Philadelphia Union.
