Miguel Almiron appears to be England-bound.
Atlanta United's star midfielder has been the subject of transfer buzz aplenty for much of his two seasons with the club and his agent Daniel Campos joined AM 1080 in Paraguay and said his client will be playing in England, though nothing is concrete. He didn't denote when or for which club, though did add he was in England and saw the Newcastle-Bournemouth match on Saturday.
Almiron, 24, tallied 12 goals and 14 assists in 31 games this season and overcame a hamstring injury to return in time for the playoffs, where he helped lead his club to the Eastern Conference Championship against the New York Red Bulls.
He has been a rumored target for Arsenal, West Ham and Tottenham in recent months.
