The 2024 MLS season is officially off and running!
Inter Miami CF winger Robert Taylor has scored the first goal of the new campaign, latching onto Lionel Messi's through ball before firing a 39th-minute opener past Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Zac MacMath.
The 1-0 strike Tuesday evening at Chase Stadium continued where Taylor left off in 2023. The Finland international was a breakout star last year after Messi arrived mid-summer, playing a prominent role during their Leagues Cup title capture.
