Andre Horta is approaching his July debut with LAFC, who signed the 21-year-old Portugese playmaker as a Young Designated Player on March 27. With the oncoming transition to MLS from Portugese giant Benfica, Horta conducted an interview with local outlet A Bola, and discussed why he chose MLS:
"It was a very engaging project that came at a time when I played less," Horta said, in Portugese. "A new club, new stadium, new training center and top conditions, American style.
"I feel that I will evolve as a man and as a player, because it is a league on the rise and has great players. I will come back much more mature."
