So perhaps we shouldn't be surprised that Carlos Vela's jaw-dropping wondergoal vs. the San Jose Earthquakes has cruised to an emphatic victory in the AT&T Goal of the Week race for Week 25.
The LAFC superstar's incredible solo effort, highlighted by a truly saucy dribbling run through the Quakes defense and an even cheekier close-range finish, reaped 44.21% of the vote. Montreal Impact newcomer Bojan Krkic finished a distant second at 19.43%.
The outrageous backheel nutmeg finish in the Hudson River Derby by New York City FC's Heber came in third at 16.98%, followed by D.C. United's Ola Kamara at 10.26% and New England Revolution star Gustavo Bou with 9.13%.
