In what will surely go down as one of the greatest pieces of content in MLS history, the LA Galaxy published a video Monday of defenders A.J. DeLaGarza and Jelle Van Damme taking on a team of 25 10-year-olds in a nearly full-field match at a StubHub Center practice field.
Billed as the “LA Galaxy Ridiculous Soccer Challenge,” the match more than lived up its moniker. Van Damme and DeLaGarza actually gunned for the win, taking dives, getting into shoving matches and celebrating goals with gusto against their pre-teen opponents.
