TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
The LA Galaxy are on the verge of signing French winger Samuel Grandsir from AS Monaco, according to a report from L’Equipe.
The 24-year-old will reportedly make the move in the coming days and sign a three-year contract with AS Monaco retaining a sell-on percentage via a clause in the deal.
The Galaxy will need to win a race to sign Grandsir, with Premier League side Burnley and Spanish clubs Real Valladolid and Alaves reportedly also in the mix.
The right winger started his career in his hometown Evreux before breaking through as a professional with Troyes in 2016. He scored six goals in 77 appearances with Troyes before making the move to Monaco in 2018, but spent most of the next two seasons on loan with RC Strasbourg and Stade Brest 29.
In total, Grandsir has scored 12 goals in 131 first-team appearances. Internationally, Grandsir made four appearances with the France U21 side.
