LA Galaxy academy product Julian Araujo has been showing his deep roots in the Southern California community, supplying meals to farm workers in his native Lompoc, Calif. Each meal came accompanied with a note from the 18-year-old that read: “When the sun rises you go to work. When the sun goes down you continue working. Thank you for working with your hands, your mind and your heart.”
Araujo later told the local KEYT NewsChannel: "I just wanted to let them know they are appreciated and their hard work doesn't go unnoticed."
Araujo made 18 appearances (10 starts) last season with LA, his first season as a professional, and provided one assist. He’s an established US youth international, and was called into this past US men’s national team January camp, though didn’t make an appearance.
