Ever wonder what it's like to be an MLS player during the training sessions that most of us never get to witness?
Real Salt Lake defender Justen Glad was kind enough to allow fans into that world, wearing a microphone for a recent preseason training session. According to coach Mike Petke, who played Glad's center back position for 13 MLS seasons, it's a rare opportunity to peak into one of the best 20-year-old soccer minds in the American game.
"Justen has such an amazing head on his shoulders," Petke recently told ExtraTime Radio. "He is wise beyond his years and I really mean that. On the field with the ball at his feet and playing, he is to me at his age the best center back in this country."
