TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signings
Inter Miami CF announced two more signings Monday evening, having acquired young fullback Denso Ulysse from USL Championship side and Seattle Sounders affiliate club Tacoma Defiance and agreeing contract terms with goalkeeper Drake Callender after acquiring his Homegrown Player rights from San Jose last month.
A Haitian youth international, Ulysse, 21, made 58 USL appearances for Tacoma over the past three seasons, earning USL All-League Second Team and USL 20 Under 20 List honors last year.
“We’re happy to add a player with Denso’s potential to our inaugural roster,” said Inter sporting director Paul McDonough in a statement. “He has had tremendous success in the USL, and we hope to continue his upward trajectory.”

Miami acquired the HGP rights to Callender, 22, from the Earthquakes in exchange for the first pick of the second round of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft (No. 27 overall) on Nov. 12. The Quakes can also receive up to $150,000 in General Allocation Money if Callender meets certain performance-based metrics.
The Sacramento native just completed four NCAA seasons at Cal, where he kept 16 clean sheets in 54 games and earned various all-region and All-Pac-12 honors. He’s also a US youth international in contention for a place on the Under-23 national team side preparing for 2020 Olympic qualifying action.
“We’re excited to sign Drake to a contract after acquiring his Homegrown Rights from San Jose,” said McDonough. “He’s a driven, young goalkeeper who stood out at the collegiate level both on and off the pitch.”
Miami are counting down to their inaugural MLS match, a visit to LAFC on March 1 (5:30 pm ET | ESPN) and their home opener, vs. the LA Galaxy on March 14 (2:30 pm ET | FOX) at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
