Hector Villalba gave the burgeoning rivalry between Atlanta United and Orlando City SC its first classic goal with a blistering game-winner in the 86th minute, sealing the Five Stripes' 1-0 triumph in the teams' inaugural meeting.
And now that goal, worthy of deciding any match in the world, has also won MLS Goal of the Week honors for Week 20. Villalba's ninth goal of the season took 48 percent of the vote, ahead of Blerim Dzemaili, who took 37 percent of the vote for his strike for the Montreal Impact.
Behind them were the Seattle Sounders' Gustav Svensson, Real Salt Lake's Kyle Beckerman and New York City FC's David Villa.
