Four players were selected in Monday's End-of-Year Waivers Process.
With the first pick, FC Cincinnati picked up one of the key cogs of the 2019 Philadelphia Union. Haris Medunjanin played every minute for the Union, helping the team finish third in the Eastern Conference and win the club's first-ever playoff game. The 34-year-old started 98 matches for Jim Curtin's team over the last three seasons, but the club decided not to re-sign him after his contract ran out following the season. The veteran midfielder played in the 2014 World Cup with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The New England Revolution traded up to the No. 3 spot in the draft and selected former New York City FC goalkeeper Jeff Caldwell. The 23-year-old was selected No. 19 overall by the Cityzens in the 2018 SuperDraft and started 28 games with Memphis 901 FC while on loan in 2019. The Revs traded their second-round pick in the 2020 SuperDraft to Orlando City SC to acquire the pick.
Minnesota United FC selected a goalkeeper of their own in Greg Ranjitsingh. The former Orlando man signed with the Lions prior to the 2019 season after helping Louisville City FC win two titles in the USL Championship. He made two starts for Orlando in 2019, conceding three goals as Orlando went 0-1-1.
The last pick of the draft was made by the LA Galaxy, who selected left back Danilo Acosta. The Real Salt Lake Homegrown spent 2019 on loan with Orlando, making eight starts. He started 26 matches with RSL over the previous two seasons.
