Goalkeeper Week: Who holds MLS's all-time records between the pipes?

It's no secret that Nick Rimando has taken the No. 1 spot in nearly all of MLS's all-time goalkeeping statistics over the past couple of years.

First came the shutout record, which Rimando claimed last August. His 126 clean sheets are 14 more than any other player and 40 more than any other player not named Kevin Hartman.

Rimando is also the all-time leader in games played (415), and a few weeks ago he passed Hartman for the most wins in MLS history.

But Rimando doesn't own every record â€“ not yet, at least.

For instance, he's not in the top five of when it comes to goals against average, though his 1.19 mark is among the league's best all-time. Goals against average is goals conceded divided by the number of games played. A player must have played 50 games to have qualified for this list.

Nielsen spent four seasons with Sporting Kansas City, helping them win the US Open Cup in 2012 and MLS Cup in 2013.

Rimando misses out on the top five of save percentage (total saves divided by shots on goal) as well, but a pair of US legends and a current player are among those featured. A goalkeeper must have made at least 100 saves to qualify for this list.
