Giovani dos Santos wouldn’t mind sharing a little of the LA spotlight with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Dos Santos is hoping his LA Galaxy can close a potential deal to bring Ibrahimovic to MLS, news of which was first reported by ESPN’s Taylor Twellman over the weekend.
“It would be like a dream come true,” dos Santos told ESPN FC’s Tom Marshall after helping Mexico beat Bosnia and Herzegovina in a friendly in San Antonio on Wednesday night. “I’ve been able to play with some of the best strikers in the world. I played with Robbie Keane, so to bring a total player like Zlatan would be huge for our attack.”
Ibrahimovic, 36, is under contract with Manchester United through the end of the season.
