On a night that saw several players around the league sub off early due to injury, including Sebastian Giovinco and Didier Drogba, the LA Galaxy were not spared.
Stars Steven Gerrard and Jelle van Damme both came off in the first half after picking up injuries in the Galaxy's match at home versus the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Gerrard, who picked up a reported hamstring issue, was replaced in the 31st minute by Gyasi Zardes.
Van Damme came off in the 44th minute with what is being reported as a "left-knee issue." He was replaced by Daniel Steres.
