FC Dallas' Chris Seitz denied Boniek Garcia in Week 5, a Save of the Week honor in the bag. Same old story in Week 6, only this time Clint Dempsey was the victim.
With FC Dallas leading 2-1 in their eventual 3-2 defeat against the Sounders, Seitz had to act quickly after the USMNT captain unexpectedly laced a shot toward the top corner. Seitz didn't hesitate, pushing the ball off the crossbar to preserve the lead. Unfortunately for the FC Dallas goalkeeper, Dempsey would win the game with a late run into the box.
Seitz dominated Save of the Week voting for the second straight week, capturing nearly more than half of the vote to breeze past the Columbus Crew's Steve Clark.
