FC Cincinnati fans know how to pack Nippert Stadium, and it appears they’re also learning how to show out in MLS AT&T Goal of the Week voting.
FCC attacker Kekuta Manneh edged LAFC’s Walker Zimmerman to take top prize in the Week 4 GOTW race, marking the second straight week in which a Cincy player has won.
Manneh’s strike, the finishing touch on a slick passing move that carved open the New England Revolution defense in Sunday’s head-turning 2-0 Cincy road win, earned 41 percent of the ballots cast, with Zimmerman’s dramatic late winner vs. Real Salt Lake in second at 35 percent.
David Accam (13%) took third spot, followed by Sacha Kljestan (6%) and Michael Barrios (5%). See all five nominated goals and the full breakdown of voting results for Week 4.
