Heading towards the 2020 Olympics, Argentina have named their latest Under-23 squad and it includes a few familiar faces.
Atlanta United's Ezequiel Barco (pictured above) and NYCFC's Taty Castellanos were called into the team for the November international break. The two young stars excelled in MLS this season and have been involved with the team in recent windows.
Barco, 20, battled injury and a lengthy U-20 World Cup absence to make 15 appearances for Atlanta this season, with four goals and three assists. He was a key piece in the club's run to the Eastern Conference Final, where his side fell to Toronto FC on Wednesday.
Castellanos, 21, broke out for NYCFC in 2019 with 11 goals and seven assists over 30 appearances. He broke into the Argentinian U-23 setup for this cycle off the back of those performances.
D.C. United's Lucas Rodriguez, who was involved in the team in September, was not called up this time.
