Jesse Lingard broke an early deadlock with a gorgeous curler in the 25th minute, and the US national team never fully recovered in a 3-0 friendly defeat to England at Wembley Stadium on Thursday.
Trent Alexander-Arnold added a second goal two minutes after Lingard's opener against the US, which likely playing its second-to-last match under interim coach Dave Sarachan.
Callum Wilson sealed it with a third he richly deserved in a second half during which the Americans drastically improved upon a ragged first, yet without results.
The visitors' best chance came shortly before Lingard's opener, when Christian Pulisic's persistence turned a broken play into a breakaway, only for Jordan Pickford come out quickly from his line and thwart the danger.
