US national team Under-17 boss John Hackworth has called up 24 players for a training camp to be held in Chula Vista, California between February 24-March 4, and 15 have current ties to MLS teams.
The camp, which will include friendlies against LA Galaxy academy teams and Club Tijuana youth players, will help the U-17 group prepare for their U-17 World Cup cycle, which will take place in 2019.
One current MLS pro, recent San Jose Earthquakes Homegrown midfielder Gilbert Fuentes, is on the roster, as are MLS academy players representing eight different clubs.
