Dominic Oduro tweaks Toronto FC on Twitter over MLS Cup ticket chatter

Dominic Oduro's Twitter handle is @Freakyfast8 — for his pace on the pitch, of course. But the speedy Montreal winger also wasted little time in tweaking 401 Derby rivals Toronto FC ahead of Wednesday's second leg of the Eastern Conference Championship, after a report surfaced that tickets were already being sold for an MLS Cup final at BMO Field.

Oduro's tweet, sent out Sunday evening, came in response to a report by Fox Sports' Julie Stewart-Binks:

A Toronto FC spokesperson told MLSsoccer.com on Monday that the club has not yet put tickets on sale for a possible MLS Cup final at BMO Field.

Montreal can't host MLS Cup, if they qualify for the first time. The Seattle Sounders, who completed a 3-1 two-leg, aggregate-goal series victory over Colorado on Sunday and also are first-time finalists, would host the title game on Dec.10 on the strength of a better regular-season record if the Impact advance.

Still, with the Impact holding a 3-2 edge after the first leg in Montreal, Oduro's confidence is not without foundation. Montreal advance with a victory or a draw on Wednesday, and would advance on any one-goal loss except for 1-0 or 2-1 scorelines. A 3-2 defeat would square the round on aggregate and away goals, requiring extra time (and perhaps penalties) to settle the conference winner.
