After serving his yellow card suspension, Diego Rubio is back and in the starting XI for Sporting Kansas City.
The Chilean returns to the lineup for Thursday's Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Championship second leg against the Portland Timbers, with the teams tied 0-0 through the first leg. Rubio missed that first game due to suspension, but he retains his starting spot, after scoring in his last two MLS Cup Playoffs appearances this year.
Besides Rubio's return, Sporting are lining up with the same group that started the first leg.
On the other side, the Timbers will start with Bill Tuiloma in place of the injured Larrys Mabiala in central defense, while Andy Polo regains his spot in the XI after recovering from an injury picked up on international duty for Peru which caused him to miss the first leg.
