The tragic death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter in a fatal helicopter crash has hit the sports world hard.
Even David Beckham, the former LA Galaxy star and part-owner of expansion side Inter Miami, admitted it wasn't easy for him to put his emotions into words on the day of the tragedy.
On Monday Beckham shared those feelings in an Instagram post in which he revealed the impact that Bryant had on him as an athlete.
"The commitment Kobe showed to his sport was inspiring, to go through the pain and to finish a game off like only he could inspired me to try to be better."
