For the first time since being sidelined with a right adductor injury in late June, Darlington Nagbe has returned to full training for Atlanta United on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old midfielder suffered the injury in the second alf of a 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers on June 24, his 17th consecutive start since arriving in a trade with the Timbers on Dec. 13.
Filling the void in his absence have been the duo of Jeff Larentowicz and Eric Remedi, who was signed on June 26.
No word yet if Nagbe will be featured when Atlanta United head to Colorado to take on the Rapids Saturday (3:30 pm ET | UniMás, Twitter — Full TV & Streaming info). The Five Stripes went 6-2-2 in Nagbe’s absence.
However, it was clear Nagbe's presence was a boost to the squad on Tuesday morning.
