Clint Dempsey played the playoff hero his first postseason match in two years a week ago, and the soccer world took notice.
After hitting a brace in the Seattle Sounders' 2-0 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps in the second leg of their Western Conference Semifinal on Sunday, Dempsey has been named to the 'EA SPORTS FIFA 18' FUT team of the week.
The deuce for "Deuce" came after he missed Seattle's run to the 2016 MLS Cup title because of concerns surrounding a heart condition.
His goals were the only ones scored in the entire two-legged series against Vancouver, as Seattle moved on to face the Houston Dynamo in the Western Conference finals.
