Chivas USA shoot down report that deal for English striker Luke Moore is done

A Chivas USA spokesperson shot down a report Friday indicating the club has signed English striker Luke Moore, calling the news that the former Aston Villa man will join the club this weekend "unfounded."

Goal.com's Ives Galarcep reported Friday afternoon that Moore (pictured above) had come to terms with the Rojiblancos, and that he would join the team on Friday evening:

Moore, 28, most recently played with Turkish top-flight side Elazigspor and boasts extensive experience in the English Premier League with Aston VIlla, West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City.
