Chivas USA announced on Friday that the club has mutually parted ways with Peruvian defender Wálter Vílchez, whose contract expires at the end of the month.
The 31-year-old center back joined Chivas in February 2013 and appeared in 11 games for the Goats, including as a starter in 9 of the club's last 10 league matches.
Prior to joining the Rojiblancos, Vílchez played in his native Peru, as well as in Argentina and Mexico, where he played for now former Chivas USA head coach José Luis Sánchez Solá at Puebla FC.
Vílchez also has 64 caps for the Peruvian national team.
