Chivas USA announced on Friday that the club has loaned forward José Erick Correa to Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata in Argentina’s First Division. The team did not specify the length of the deal.
The 21-year-old striker was signed by Chivas USA prior to the 2012 season, where he scored two goals in 16 appearances. He also scored twice in the 2012 US Open Cup to help the Rojiblancos reach the semifinals. This season, Correa has scored one goal in 16 appearances.
