Chivas USA continued their shakeup on Sunday with four major moves, announcing that the club has declined options on midfielders Miller Bolaños and Laurent Courtois, released defender Joaquín Velázquez and that on-loan attacker Giovani Casillas has been recalled by CD Guadalajara.
Bolaños (above) has been on loan to Chivas USA from LDU Quito of Ecuador since January of 2012. In 29 games with the Goats, five this season, the 23-year-old scored three goals and gave four assists.
Courtois joined Chivas in August of 2011 from stints in France, England and Spain. In three seasons with the Rojiblancos, he played in 33 games. He scored his first goal of 2013 on Saturday night in a 1-1 draw with New England.

Casillas, meanwhile, who won the U-17 World Cup with Mexico in 2011, came to Chivas USA on loan from Guadalajara in February. The 19-year-old midfielder played in five games, and scored one goal for the Goats.
Velázquez also joined Chivas USA in February, after having spent the majority of his career playing for Liga MX side Puebla FC. While with Rojiblancos, the veteran defender started in all 12 matches he appeared in and scored one goal in the team’s 4-1 victory over the Chicago Fire on March 24.
