The Chicago Fire announced on Monday that they have mutually agreed to part ways with defender Rafael Ramos.
Ramos, 23, moved over to the Fire in the offseason, in a trade from Orlando City SC. This year, he made five appearances, across all competitions, for Chicago.
The Portuguese defender immediately found a new club, with Dutch outfit FC Twente announcing Ramos' signing on Monday.
The Fire are back in action on Wednesday in the semifinal round of the U.S. Open Cup, against the Philadelphia Union (7 pm ET | USsoccer.com).
