The portion of NBC's "Today" show which is hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb is one of the most consistently entertaining hours on television. Whether by design or accident, there's certain to be something to talk about every single day.
On Friday, that included an MLS influence, as Sporting Kansas City midfielder Benny Feilhaber stopped by. The former US international, who was born in Brazil, hosted a game show in honor of the 2016 Rio Olympics, where Gifford and fill-in cohost Jenna Bush-Hager played alongside select audience members to guess the meanings of several Portuguese-language expressions common in Brazil.
It appears the contestants did not fully understand the object of the game ahead of time, and the final answer shows the chaos that can make the "Kathie Lee and Hoda" portion of the "Today" show so entertaining.
Just one question: Did Feilhaber, who will take on the Timbers in Portland with his Sporting Kansas City teammates on Sunday, get a chance to pitch his old hit "The Benny Feilhaber Show" while he was on set?
