Austin FC have not yet released their inaugural MLS jersey, but they already have jersey front and jersey sleeve partners that will be featured on it.
After announcing YETI as the club's jersey front sponsor back in February, the 2021 MLS expansion side has now named Netspend, an Austin-based technology firm specializing in payments and digital solutions, as the club's first jersey sleeve partner.
The 2020 season has been the first in which MLS clubs were cleared to secure sleeve sponsors as part of a four-year pilot program.
In the case of Austin FC, the Netspend logo will be featured on the right sleeve and all authentic Austin FC jerseys of every size will feature the logo, including the club's eMLS jersey. In addition to the sleeve sponsorship, Netspend will be developing in-stadium cashless and contactless payment options for fans on matchdays, as well as collaborating with Austin FC on community-focused programs and uplift projects.
