Atlanta United and the Charleston Battery have rescheduled their postponed fourth round U.S. Open Cup match.
The two teams will now play on Thursday at 7 pm ET at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia. The stadium is home to Atlanta United 2. The game will be played behind closed doors and is not open to the public but will be broadcast on ESPN+ and open to members of the media.
The match was originally scheduled for Tuesday night, but it was postponed due to unplayable field conditions at MUSC Health Stadium in South Carolina shortly before kick off.
The teams played in each of the last two Open Cup tournaments, with Atlanta winning both times against their former USL affiliates. Atlanta United are not scheduled to play again until June 26, but the Battery play each of the next two Saturdays in USL Championship action.
