Alphonso Davies is quite simply on one at the moment, and he's not showing any signs of slowing down.
The Bayern Munich man and former Vancouver Whitecaps Homegrown star continued his recent torrid run of form in Bayern's UEFA Champions League romp over Chelsea on Tuesday, assisting on his team's third and final goal of the match in the 76th minute with one of his patented tears down the flank before he sent in a pinpoint cross to teammate Robert Lewandowski for an easy point-blank finish.
The sequence was vintage Davies, from the blinding speed to break away from the hapless defenders into acres of space, to the inch-perfect cross that put the ball on an absolute platter for Lewandowski to cap off a comprehensive 3-0 first-leg victory for the German giants. Check it out below:

It's the continuation of what can only be described as a breakout campaign for the 19-year-old Canadian, who joined Bayern for a then-record MLS transfer fee from the Whitecaps last season. At first, it wasn't a given that he would be able to regularly command first-team minutes, but he's fully broken in, having started every Bundesliga and Champions League game since Oct. 26. And he's not just playing, he's excelling, with moves like today's highlight popping up what seems like every game.
The scary thing is, he's probably only going to get better.
