Los Angeles-based duo Carlos Vela and Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez have topped the list for the top-selling MLS jerseys of 2020.
LAFC's Vela, who was third a year ago, takes over top spot from Zlatan Ibrahimovic following the Swede's move to Italian giants Milan. Hernandez, who joined LA Galaxy following Ibrahimovic's departure, was an immediate hit with supporters, landing the No. 2 spot on this year's list.
Despite suffering a season-ending ACL injury in the opening game of 2020, Atlanta United striker Josef Martinez still placed third, ahead of Jordan Morris, one of four Seattle Sounders players on the list.
There is also strong representation from expansion team Inter Miami, with three of their players scoring spots in the top 10. Mexico star Rodolfo Pizarro is in fifth, one place ahead of Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain, with World Cup winner Blaise Matuidi in ninth.
The rankings are based on overall retail sales of adidas MLS jerseys on MLSStore.com since the beginning of 2020.
