Ahead of Wednesday night's Campeones Cup match between Toronto FC and Tigres UANL at BMO Field (8:15 pm ET | ESPN2, Univision, TSN, TVAS), here's some some useful information to know about the competition's rules and regulations.
Officiating
The four-man officiating crew for the one-match final all hails from Costa Rica. For MLS viewers who have gotten used to seeing a Video Assistant Referee among the officiating assignments, it's also worth noting there will be no use of video review during the competition.

Tie-breaking procedures
Unlike the Concacaf Champions League, which included extra time if two 90-minute legs weren't enough to decide things, the Campeones Cup match will proceed straight to penalties if the score is even after 90 minutes. That's probably welcome news for both Toronto and Tigres, who both played league matches last weekend and have league matches scheduled this coming weekend.
Rosters and substitutions
Like all MLS, Liga MX and Concacaf Champions League matches, both Toronto and Tigres will be limited to an 18-man roster with three substitutions. If a player is injured following the use of three substitutions and can't continue, the team with the injured player will have to play a man short.
