UPDATE: FRIDAY, NOON ET — Atlanta United center back Miles Robinson has been added to the senior roster after LAFC center back Walker Zimmerman suffered an injury on Decision Day presented by AT&T. Philadelphia Union center back Auston Trusty has been called in to replace him. Additionally, New York Red Bulls fullback Kyle Duncan will miss the camp due to an injury suffered on Sunday, as North Carolina FC Manny Perez replaces him.
FRIDAY, 3:30 ET: US U-23 national team head coach Jason Kreis has called up 25 players to his latest squad, for a training camp and friendly against El Salvador from Oct. 6-15 in Miami.
16 players called up currently play in MLS, including five players from Real Salt Lake. Nine MLS teams in total are represented on the roster.
The camp aims to be another tune-up for the age group ahead of 2020 Tokyo Olympics qualifying, which will take place in in March. The US have not played in the Olympics since 2008 and will look to return to that tournament. The current camp will wrap up with the closed-door friendly against El Salvador on Oct. 15.
