Inter Miami CF continues its series of eFriendlies on Saturday (1 pm ET) with a clash between El Tri teammates, with Miami Designated Player signing Rodolfo Pizarro facing Wolverhampton Wanderers star striker Raul Jimenez in a virtual matchup of two of the Mexcian national team's biggest stars.
Hosted by members of the TUDN and Inter Miami broadcast team, Ramses Sandoval and Luis Omar Tapia, the Club’s first international eFriendly featuring two EA SPORTS FIFA 20 matchups will stream worldwide through TUDN.com, the TUDN app, Inter Miami's Twitch, Youtube and Facebook channels, and official club app, and Wolves’ social media channels.
Following the hour-long broadcast, Pizarro’s signed game-worn RosaNegra jersey will be given away to an Inter Miami app member, but anyone who watches should be in for a fun afternoon of banter between the two El Tri teammates.
Pizarro and Jiménez have shared the pitch numerous times, making 12 appearances together with the Mexico national team that included winning the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup. They also faced each other four times in the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 LigaMX seasons while playing for Pachuca and América, respectively.
Pizarro previously participated in and won Inter Miami’s FIFA 20 tournament as part of Twitch’s Stream Aid 2020, a virtual event that raised over $2.7 million for the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. The midfielder also represented Mexico in the FIFA eNations Stay and Play Cup on April 24, defeating Peru and Vancouver Whitecaps attacker Yordy Reyna, 2-1.
Saturday’s contest will mark the Club’s third eFriendly since the gaming series debuted on May 9.
