It's finally here: EA Sports FIFA 21 is out for the general public today, bringing soccer fans another year of one of the most popular sports video games on the planet.
Each edition brings new features, new stadiums and, of course, all-new player ratings for the current year, and there's plenty for MLS fans to look forward to in FIFA 21. For one, expansion teams Inter Miami and Nashville SC will be featured in the game for the first time.
Portland Timbers fans can also look forward to seeing their home, Providence Park, in the game for the first time. It joins BC Place (Vancouver), CenturyLink Field (Seattle), Dignity Health Sports Park (LA Galaxy), Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta) and Red Bull Arena (NY Red Bulls) as MLS stadiums that gamers can play in virtually.
As far as this year's ratings are concerned, it may not come as a surprise that the last two league MVPs, Carlos Vela and Josef Martinez, are among the top three players, and are joined by one of the league's highest-profile imports in 2020, Miami's Blaise Matuidi.
