Inter Miami midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro will face Sporting Kansas City striker Alan Pulido this Saturday at 1 pm ET in a FIFA20 eFriendly, one week removed the former beating Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Rodolfo Jimenez on the same platform. Meanwhile, Pulido previously beatSan Jose Earthquakes defender and former Chivas teammate Oswaldo Alanis in FIFA 20 this past April.
The event will be hosted by ESPN Deportes and Ahora o Nunca’s Mauricio Pedroza and Herculez Gomez, as the offseason Liga MX arrivals compete on the virtual pitch. Pizarro and Pulido both entered MLS this past winter via club-record transfer fees.
Pulido had previously challenged Pizarro to a head-to-head FIFA virtual competition during an April interview with Ahora o Nunca: “I have to challenge him in FIFA to see if it's true!”
The Mexican attackers have twice played together for the Mexico national team, and they also helped Chivas lift the Concacaf Champions League trophy in 2018. They’ve squared off four times in four Liga MX matches, including three while Pizarro played for Pachuca and Pulido played for Tigres.
The games will be streamed via ESPN Deportes’ digital channels and the clubs' various social media platforms.
